Cartridge Breakdown
Anion Exchange Resin & Inorganic Component Removes phosphate and sulfate anions that can interfere with effective removal of arsenic. Removes inorganic arsenic which is associated with the increased risk of skin, bladder, lung, kidney and prostate cancer. Iron oxide and hydroxide for removal of arsenic. Improves the ability of arsenic removal.
Cartridge Re-Design
The visual look of the replacement cartridge was changed in 2017, at the same time the media inside was updated to filter inorganic and organic arsenic. The filter is no longer white, but transparent, and the media inside is now mixed to allow for better filtration.
